Libya Buffoonery

November 3, 2012

EDIT: I made this blog in response to some of the buffoonery I have seen over the past few weeks. I dedicated it to two former teachers of mine who are extremely conservative. In the blog I used extreme and profane language that while I hold dear my right to say, should of not of been directed at my two former teachers. For that, I do apologize. My points still remain as truth, and with this I wish all of us can at least agree on a center reality on which to base our opinions on and turn the page.

Libya & the Middle East–

People who were obviously asleep for the past decade, but have suddenly woken up during these past four years. To you I say,

Since I am talking to people who pay attention to little more then Glenn Beck and the rest of the Fox Nation and who are CONVINCED that President Obama is a Muslim socialist that was not even born in this country, I will have to bring this one down.

Way down.

Since I will be talking to people who believe in their heart of hearts that President Obama is actively pursuing legislation that will kill babies and eat their black hearts for no other simple reason other then he hates babies AND America, I will have to lower the bar.

Sigh— So, let’s get on with this.

The main¬†rationale¬†for all of Bush’s wars- after 9/11- was to promote democracy in hopes for a more stable Middle East in which we can trade freely and buy up oil without having to deal with dictators who destroy their own citizens and¬†guarantee¬†the safety of American citizens in the process. It was a good plan if you are into that sort of thing… The only problem was that President Bush and the Republican party at the time was GROSSLY under qualified to lead such a gigantic undertaking. President Bush believed that he was being led by the hand of God and if he just followed through, then everything would work out. That kind of thought process would be understandable if you are studying for a test or going on a date but UNFORTUNATELY¬†for us it was far from anything that resembled steady leadership in the region.

So, elections have consequences. Because of that, thousands are dead, our country has massive debt, and President Obama was left to salvage what he could. So, now that other Arab countries are ousting their dictators at an alarming rate (It’s called the ARAB SPRING for a reason) which remember- was EXACTLY what we wanted to do in the first place, now has created a power¬†vacuum¬†in some areas that bad people want to fill. Namely Al-Qaeda.

And so, on September 11th 2012, capitalizing on a perceived opening in a turbulent troubled region, the before mentioned group launched an attack on our embassies in Benghazi. In the attack, four Americans had died. It is troublesome, it is terrible, it is sad.

But is it President Obama’s fault as so artfully expressed in this facebook status?

I guess the answer is yes, the exact same way President Bush was DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR NOT PREVENTING THE ATTACK ON SEPT 11TH 2001.

I¬†guess those same people who blame Obama on the Benghazi attacks with such FUROR hold the President to a much higher standard then¬†President¬†Bush. Completely understandable. I too hold our current President to a much higher standard precisely because he doesn’t walk around wearing his ass for a hat. Let’s not forget the many attacks we had on U.S. Embassies we had under President George W. Bush, aka “He-Who-MustNot-Be-Named”¬†Republican¬†extraordinaire. Here’s a list for the most dense among us:

June 14, 2002, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Suicide bomber kills 12 and injures 51.

February 20, 2003, international diplomatic compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Truck bomb kills 17.

February 28, 2003, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Gunmen on motorcycles killed two consulate guards.

July 30, 2004, U.S. embassy in Taskkent, Uzbekistan
Suicide bomber kills two.

December 6, 2004, U.S. consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Militants stormed and occupied perimeter wall. Five killed, 10 wounded.

March 2, 2006, U.S. consulate in Karachi, Pakistan
Suicide car bomber killed four, including a U.S. diplomate directly targeted by the assailants.

September 12, 2006, U.S. embassy in Damascus, Syria
Gunmen attacked embassy with grenades, automatic weapons, and a car bomb (though second truck bomb failed to detonate). One killed and 13 wounded.

January 12, 2007, U.S. embassy in Athens, Greece
A rocket-propelled grenade was fired at the embassy building. No one was injured.

July 9, 2008, U.S. consulate in Istanbul, Turkey
Armed men attacked consulate with pistols and shotguns. Three policemen killed.

March 18, 2008, U.S. embassy in Sana’a, Yemen
Mortar attack misses embassy, hits nearby girls’ school instead.

September 17, 2008, U.S. embassy in Sana’a, Yemen
Militants dressed as policemen attacked the embassy with RPGs, rifles, grenades and car bombs. Six Yemeni soldiers and seven civilians were killed. Sixteen more were injured.

source:  www.dailykos.com/story/2012/09/12/1130950/-If-diplomatic-attacks-are-a-sign-of-weakness-Bush-was-the-weakest-of-all

So what’s the point? The point is simply this: Pointing to Obama as a bad president by¬†repeatedly¬†bringing up this desperate line of attack to show the President’s weakness is laughable at best and just plain disgusting at worst. Face it. President Obama has been a success in almost every measure, even with almost every possible variable designed to tear him down. It’s time to own up, put up, and shut up. No attacks by¬†foreign¬†entities on American soil. Economy is humming again.¬†Government¬†is streamlined. We are down one major war. I can go on, and on, and on.

No, let me just throw this link up.

Enough is enough. I had to come to the harsh realization that the President is governing from a very right of center mentality after thinking he would be a progressive. It’s time for all you conservatives to admit you were wrong as well. Actually, it’s well beyond time. I’m sorry if I made you mad. I am sorry if I made you cry- but it is what it is.

Good night.

p.s. sorry.

Mitt Romney… On FEMA

October 29, 2012

Living in Louisiana, let’s just say we are kind of used to these hurricanes. It’s not to say they aren’t dangerous, and we shouldn’t be prepared for them; But we sincerely appreciate the help that is sent after the storm to have our lives be put back on track as soon as possible.¬†Having weeks without power feels like an extremely long time, and it’s tough to go through.

So, what exactly does Mitt Romney think about disaster relief programs handled by the Federal Government in case of an emergency type situation? Let’s find out, friends!

SINK OR SWIM MOTHER FUCKERS! If your governor sucks ass in your state, well— THAT’S YOUR BUSINESS!

It’s enough to make me go slightly mad.

Be safe, America!

-Mad Mike

Everyone here knows my disdain for Willard “Mitt” Romney. In my humble opinion, he is not what America needs and would be a disaster. The Republican party owes a great debt to the American people, and they need to go inside the closet and reinvent themselves and their message before they even have a glimmer of a chance for me or anyone else to vote for them. After almost three whole decades of trickle down economics, shutting out minorities and a disaster of a presidency for this last decade (his name was George W. Bush, since they never utter his name), they truly have some fucking balls to send yet another corporate ass clown and try to pass him off as a true American hero.

I’ve already wrote about how they will try and steal this election. Everyone by now has heard of the 10,000 active ways they are¬†suppressing¬†the vote, owning companies that supply voting machines, throwing away mass amounts of voter registration forms, it simply goes on and on. It’s sick, it’s depressing, and it’s about as evil as it fucking gets.

(Vote Early, Vote Early… AND LEAVE A FUCKING PAPER TRAIL <- My advice for ALL voters)

I digress. We’ve already been through these waters before, in previous blogs. I could go on and on, but I want to touch on one point. I want to offer a glimpse into a Mitt Romney Presidency.

Now for this, I will have to illustrate a point that might come across as unimportant. Before you write this example off, let’s look at it the best we possibly can. Let’s really consider if this means anything at all.

A few days ago, Mitt Romney held a rally. In the rally, a few country singers and Meat Loaf gathered around for a rock-tober fest to endorse and show their support for Mitt Romney. Pretty normal stuff.

In this rally, all four (or five?) gentleman, including Mitt Romney, sang perhaps what is Mitt’s favorite song on the planet, “America the Beautiful”. He sang that fucking song so many times during his campaign when he was SUPPOSED to be giving speeches on substantive things, like you know— HOW HE WOULD GOVERN and meaningless shit like that. But instead, we were oh-so-blessed with his beautiful singing voice not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, not five times but about 13 different fucking times, all different speeches, all the same flat ass notes and the audience cringing in their seats. It was painful. Believe me, I enjoy singing, and I always strive to make damn sure that the person who is in my immediate presence is not wanting to pick up a gun and end it all right there. It’s called common courtesy, and¬†apparently¬†Mitt Romney has fucking none.

How bad was his singing? Well apparently bad enough for Obama to make an ad about it:

And that doesn’t even do it justice. <РMore singing.¬†<–Piers Morgan on More singing.

Seriously. He didn’t do it just in Florida (at the retirement community where my parents live) he did it almost everywhere I went. I googled and youtubed but¬†APPARENTLY¬†they were taken down.

Which brings me to my point.

I posted the video of Meat Loaf and Mitt Romney and the others¬†butchering¬†the song the day it came out, on October 25th on Facebook. I know, I shouldn’t do that, I should of wrote this blog about it but dammit I just couldn’t resist. It was just too fucking terrible to NOT share! So today, my wife and I had a few moments to talk while Zoey was napping, and I was telling her about it. So I tried to pull it up on youtube. Not there! Okay, that’s cool. I know I posted it on facebook so it will be under my name… WAIT, WHAT’S THIS?! Not fucking there!! What the ever living fuck!?!?!?!

That’s when my wife told me. She said, “Yeah, a lot of people have been complaining about their political posts being deleted on¬†Facebook.”

That’s when it hit me. It was taken down without my knowledge, against my will. I shared that very public video because of its absolute cringe worthy nature, but¬†apparently¬† someone at Facebook or the Romney campaign headquarters decided that it wasn’t very share-worthy. I wonder what the reasoning behind it was? Copyright infringement? Yeah, because Meat Loaf and Romney own the rights to America the Beautiful during a public campaign rally where we decide the next President of the United States? I’ll never know, because no one sent me any sort of reasoning. Nothing. Just poof! Disappeared. A glimpse into the Romney presidency is this: Censorship and control. Ask me only the questions that I say you can ask me. I only comment on issues that I have prepared ahead of time for. Don’t share anything that would make me look bad. Don’t question my power. Don’t question my control. Just do what I tell you to do. Have a nice day.

What. The. FUCK.

Well here’s to you Mr. Pathetic himself, here is my blog. Want to come control that too?

Here is the video that I posted that I had to find on TMZ of all places. Please watch what someone else did not want you to see.

Stay classy, fellow citizens.

Vote, because it makes you feel strong, and LEAVE A PAPER TRAIL, OHIO & FLORIDA!!

MAD Mike

p.s. More to come! Stay tuned!

October 21, 2012

Ever stop to think, about how many people we have living in this country? How many people we know, living among us, perhaps during a festival, or a football game… There are so many fucking people alive today. We say it’s around 300 million. How much, exactly is 300+million, especially when we factor in brain capacity, thoughts, dreams, and visions.

Wouldn’t it just be easier to control everyone?

Sure, if you are the one doing the controlling.

Damn it, one of the reasons why we are such a successful country is that people at the very least walk around with the illusion that they are somehow in control of their own life. They can, if it strikes them, write their congressman, their president, and get involved in the political process. They can vote, they can start a blog, they can annoy facebook users with meaningless posts about politics, and they can think for themselves. It makes one feel more important then they are in reality. They can make their own decisions. Or, more likely, they can just tune out. It’s easier that way, right?

I am not really mad at these people, just annoyed. It’s annoying that we as a country aren’t storming Washington DC and even our state houses. It’s to be expected, really. I can’t do it, I have a family to worry about, so I can’t really afford the¬†possibility¬†of arrest¬†¬†by our upstanding police force.

Still, I see- pretty much every day- people breaking the law in such¬†egregious ways that it makes my eyes water. Banks? Voter Fraud? War profiteers? Oil & Gas price manipulation? I see no justice. If justice is indeed blind, then that is the truth…She is letting people walk all over her.

If that wasn’t bad enough, these people run virtually everything. So, not only do they shit and piss all over us as ordinary citizens, but then they have the audacity, the BALLS to turn around a point the finger at us. Seriously!

I know most of you don’t pay attention. I’ve already explained that I can’t stay away from it, even after trying multiple ways. It’s been going on for the decade that I have been paying attention, and from what others tell me, it’s gone on for much longer then that.

I hate this blog sometimes, because seriously, there are literally so many examples that I would be here all fucking night,  and quite frankly, I have other shit to do.

So let’s focus on this one thing:

Al Gore won the Presidential Election in 2000. That is an¬†indisputable¬† fact. The Supreme Court supremely stuck a hot poker up Al Gore’s ass. So, we already know that powerful interests wanted to see President Bush in power during that time. 9/11… War in Iraq, etc… Let’s follow the money shall we?

Oil. Gas. Deregulation. Banks. Pharma. Private Equity. <— these people made a SHIT LOAD OF MONEY.

Middle class, poor, ordinary jobs, Seniors, Students. <—- these people got the SHAFT.

We wouldn’t be able to beat you over the head with a blunt object then to spell it out more clearly then that. So what happens? The bubble, the crash, the end of a decade at war. We know this story already. The middle class is trying its hardest to “lift themselves up by the bootstraps” but after such a raping it takes time.

So what’s the obvious conclusion?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

(#sensata, anyone???)

But, I don’t think the nation is that dense. I don’t think our people are that stupid. I think they learn, and they move on. Sure, we are split, but overall the common sense approach seems to come through eventually.

Which is why I am making everyone acutely aware of the future: Mitt Romney will try and steal this election via the Supreme Court JUST like in 2000. ¬†I can’t stop it. I can only bitch about it.

Let’s hope we do the right thing this time.

Good luck, Ohio… I mean America.

Get Ready!

October 15, 2012

Get ready for this, because it is bound to happen.!/sinlaael/media/slideshow?

Remember the old¬†adage, “the math just doesn’t add up”?

Let me break this down for everyone in the most simple terms. Republican candidates cannot win without winning Ohio. President Obama is ahead in Ohio by about 7-9%. President Obama will win Ohio, and Mitt Romney will not be able to win overall. He will try to steal this election.

Lying for the Lord, of course. The ends justify the means.

My words of advice for Mitt:

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?”

October 12, 2012—down-ballot-notables

Fantasy land is alive and well…Must be nice to live in a place where magical vaginas¬†exists, the Earth is only 9,000 years old (and anything else to the contrary is lies from the pit of hell), and slavery was a blessing in¬†disguise!

-Mad Mike

So much shit

October 9, 2012

So much shit to talk about, can’t write…about…everything…

1) Jon & Bill

2) “Lies from the pit of hell”

3) Friends that like Mitt Romney, when he doesn’t like you back

4) PBS and the Zoey Katherine effect

This will be a combo blog, we will touch briefly on all these points. Hopefully it will be an epiphany for some of you out there.

(See what I did there? ūüėČ

First, Jon & Bill. I purchased this debate, because even if it wasn’t very good, the money went to a good cause (Wounded Vets) and I support these types of debates that two television (or radio) personalities can talk about issues outside of the comfort of their own studios. I always thought it a little weird that these guys can get up on TV night after night and rail against whatever, but they never take their views on CSPAN or debates likes this so the country can have a chance to see the pros and cons of each. I tell you guys- this debate was worth every damn red cent and then some.

My favorite moment? At the very start, when Jon unpacked what it meant to live on what he calls “Bullshit Mountain”, an alternate reality where facts simply do not matter. Here’s the 3 minute clip:

This sounds¬†familiar¬†to me. I felt like I wrote about this just a few blogs ago. That’s right! I remember now– I called it Fantasy Land. Dragons through the air and purple rivers and Unicorns tromping through fields of blue. Jon calls in Bullshit Mountain… Both colorful metaphors ring the same amount of truth; It is an alternate reality and until we decide to not live in complete fantasy then our national discourse will keep getting more and more unbearable.

Which brings us to our second item on our list, Lies from the pit of hell.

Rep. Paul Brown in a United States Senator… Currently… and he says that Evolution, the Big Bang Theory, Dinosaurs, and the fact that the earth is over 8,000 years old are all lies, straight from the pit of hell. Here’s the video:

I can’t believe — It hurt to type that all out. Now, before I hear all kinds of crap like, “Oh, don’t worry about that, people are entitled to their own opinions, they aren’t hurting you just let them believe what they want etc.,” Let me direct you to this small comic strip on why that matters, it sums it up so nicely:

No, seriously. Stop. It’s not funny anymore, for obvious reasons.

#3!  Friends who like Mitt Romney

I am absolutely 100% in favor of people making up their own minds when it comes to politics. It’s because it comes from you as an individual. It’s unique. Plus it’s more fun to argue and I have much more respect for you, even if you are on the fringe right. If you don’t like President Obama, that’s okay, he wasn’t your guy etc.

But one thing that really bothers me is when people like Mitt Romney’s facebook page. The reason it bothers me so much, is because I know one thing is for sure above all other things.

Mitt Romney does not like you back.

I draw a comparison to a lonely boy liking a girl. The boy likes the girl, perhaps even loves her, spends all day with her, thinks about her, dreams about her, buys her things… but the girl doesn’t like the boy. At all. In fact, the boy¬†aggravates¬†her, and what she really wants to do is spend her time with her own friends, or meet up with a much more handsome- or whatever- man, but she is addicted to the attention and all the gifts, so she keeps the boy around, leading him on and taking advantage of him.

This is Mitt Romney’s relationship with his voters.

Does anyone out there think that Mitt Romney sees people when he looks at numbers and budgets on a page? Does anyone think he cares for the social good and welfare of this country? Does anyone think he is in this because he loves Americans and not for the power? The man will say anything to anyone at anytime, regardless of the audacity of seeming like a blind robot that will do anything to¬†fulfill¬†a dream left over from his father. He doesn’t give a damn about you, your problems, your story. HE DOESN’T EVEN LIKE YOU.

Here’s evidence.

Do I need to post a video about the 47%? I don’t think I do.

What does he see when he looks at you? He sees a bunch of moochers that are on food stamps.

The man isn’t interested in fixing problems or finding solutions. He isn’t interested in helping you or your family. He doesn’t care about your education, and thinks it would be good for Big Bird to endorse corn flakes every once in a while.

I quote from this video’s description, since the video is a little long:

“After limping through an answer that began, “If you’re looking for free stuff … vote for the other guy,” Romney picked another questioner from the audience, clearly not having learned to avoid young women on college campuses. She asked him, in light of his opposition to federal funding for Planned Parenthood, “I’m just wondering where you would suggest that the millions of women who receive their health services — such as mammograms and HPV services — go.”

Romney responded that the federal government was going to have to make tough choices, and that some programs — such as the National Endowment for the Arts – would have to be cut.

“Big Bird is going to have to get used to Kellogg’s Corn Flakes,” he said, suggesting that the PBS program”Sesame Street” would have to begin running advertisements.”

Now the Big Bird argument…. Which brings us to #4.

Zoey Katherine Burrow loves PBS. No, seriously. She absolutely adores it,  just like both her parents did.

I can’t even begin to tell you the complete ass-headedness of cutting PBS to solve¬†deficit¬†problems… Oh wait, I can. Just click this link that will open a tweet from Neil deGrasse Tyson:

Done. That’s it. Easy. I’m done.

Look, the PBS debacle is not new. The other side seems to have it out for educational programming. The reason? Because they cannot thrive on education. The more people learn, the less they hold on to power.

Let me make this abundantly fucking clear to Romney and all the other morons that would strip this funding for any general welfare service that improves society: Do not fuck with my children. Do not fuck with anyone’s children. If you feel like you have to cut¬†children¬†programming and¬†developmental¬†services out first before you cut wars, defense and corporate welfare, you are a piece of shit and politically speaking, you deserve every bad thing that happens to you.

Not everyone is born with a silver spoon up their ass, and one thing I think we forget all too often, that these children that like cartoons and playing today are going to be Senators, engineers, salesmen and sanitation workers tomorrow. ¬†They grow up. If they do not have at least some foundation on which to base their understanding of the world on, then it’s done. That’s it. We can hang our hats and go home, this country is finished.

Watch Mr. Rogers defend PBS in1969.

Thanks for reading. I had fun writing this blog, and hope everyone gets a lot out of it.

October 4, 2012

Happy debate day!! This will be the first one.

So here we go, fun time!

Most average voters pay attention around September, October, and November. This is when all those undecided voters take a long look at each candidate and are really observant to the political climate. It’s also the time when a lot of people who have been paying attention for so long are just ready for it all to be over. October, historically, holds what is called an “October Surprise”, in which a huge bombshell is released and turns into what is called a “Game Changer” where it turns the entire race on its head. For example. Let’s say Mitt Romney found a video in which President Obama has sex with a goat. He releases it, and President Obama’s lead is shattered. That’s an October surprise.

One problem, though. Mitt Romney absolutely sucks ass at this, and he is going up against one of the greatest political campaigners we have seen in modern history. Like the president or not, you’ve got to admit- he is a great campaigner. He crosses every ‘t’ and dots every ‘i’. We’ve also already had an October surprise: the 47% video of Romney that was released in September. Romney is getting crushed at this stage in the game. You’ll see so much emphasis being put on these three debates because Romney has dug himself a hole so deep that he will try to claw his way out of. They also try to throw everything at President Obama, hoping to God something sticks on him. The latest is a “new video, that has been reported on already in 2007, but it’s new, so ignore that it was already talked about in, uh, 2007.” from the Drudge Report, aka Romney’s Personal Poop Shoot and picked up immediately by Sean “Republican Ass-Clown” Hannity and all of our dear friends at GOP News, oops I meant FOX.

Here’s a shortened version of the desperation that the other side feels right now.

Yep. you heard right.¬†Jeremiah¬†Wright. YAWN!! Didn’t Glenn Beck already travel down this road before?

Oh, that’s right. He did.

What’s old is new again. My favorite though is this Huffington Post article detailing Juan Williams, who works for FOX, just demolishing Hannity for his new “bombshell”.

I’ll save you the trouble:

“I love coming on your show Sean, because I’ve been here now for all these conspiracy theories,” Williams said. Hannity said there was no conspiracy, that Obama was pushing racial divisiveness by talking about the federal response to Hurricane Katrina and the lack of federal money for black-owned business, and that he seemed like a different person because of his accent.

“He was speaking to an elite audience of young black people,” Williams said. “He was relating to them directly … politicians do this repeatedly.

“You guys are playing a race card now,” he said.

“Why are you protecting what should be condemned by everybody?” Hannity asked.

“Are you kidding me? I would condemn it in a second if I saw it in the way you are describing,” Williams said. “When I see that you guys throw dirt and see what will stick. All you do is hope something’s going to stick this time.”

“You guys?” Hannity said.

Williams pointed out that George W. Bush himself had said that Katrina was rooted partially in racial discrimination.

My friends, this is what desperation looks like. They have nothing, and I mean NOTHING. When did the Republicans get so bad at this? I’m not complaining though. I want Romney to be¬†pulverized. politically speaking. I also want a very sharp and tuned message that states, “Enough¬†Republican¬†Crap. Go home, come back from fantasy land, and try again. Pull your head out of your own ass.” Enough is enough.¬†Seriously.

Have fun watching the debates!
